Steve Shadrach founded the ministry of Student Mobilization in 1981. Over the years he has invested his time in developing this campus and mobilization ministry along with equipping and training for many other ministries, churches, and conferences. He has trained and/or consulted staff, students and laymen with The Navigators, Campus Crusade for Christ, Baptist Student Unions, Chi Alpha, YWAM, K-Life, Campus Outreach, ACMC, and numerous other denominations and independent churches.

The BodyBuilders began in 2001, after Steve turned the reins of Student Mobilization over to the next generation of leadership to allow him to get back to grass roots campus ministry along with serving the Body of Christ as a minister at large. Steve is on staff with the United States Center for World Mission and serves as president of The BodyBuilders, providing seminars, consulting, and tools to Christians around the world.
